As a client of New Zealand Internet Services, you can depend on our reliable and consistent support and monitoring of your website.
We have an extensive Support Plan for our customers, which is applicable to the following services:
- Expresso Edit (Content Management System - CMS)
- Expresso Mail (Email Management System - EMS)
- Photo Gallery services
- Website Statistics & Reporting
Once you are signed up to our Support Plan, we will support you in the following ways:
- Telephone and email support
During normal New Zealand business hours, telephone and email support is available.
- Software updates
Updates are necessary through the advent of new browsers, operating systems (e.g. IE8, Vista, Windows 7) or service packs. New Zealand Internet Services keeps abreast of future updates related to operating systems etc and endeavours to test these against current technologies to ensure ongoing functionality. Any required updates are completed as part of our Support Plan. A recent example is Internet Explore change to IE8 and the necessity to ensure our Content Management System was still working correctly for our clients after the new version was released.
- Exception Monitoring
New Zealand Internet Services has technology in place that automatically monitors and notifies us of website exceptions (errors). These are typically the result of unforeseen circumstances related to technology advancements in operating systems and corresponding browsers or service packs. This monitoring system alerts New Zealand Internet Services of any problems related to your website. Required measures are then carried out to resolve these problems.
If we have built you a custom application, support will be covered by a Special Maintenance Agreement or charged at an hourly rate. This will be agreed in discussion with you.
We also provide support and software updates to clients who are not on our Support Plan at an hourly fee.
