SistemaSistema had a website that was built 100% using Flash. While they were very happy with the way the website looked, updates had to be carried out by their web developer, they had no search engine rankings to speak of, printing of pages was clumsy and the website was virtually unusable on iphones and ipads.
To redevelop the website in XHTML with minimal changes to the existing look. This required the website to be completely rebuilt from the ground up and use top quality coding to enable minimal changes to the look and maintain appearance across all web browsers.
The heart of the website is the display of product imagery and information. A spreadsheet was created for Sistema Plastics to maintain and load product information to the website, which means ongoing updating was fast and easy to carry out. Non-product pages are maintained via Expresso Edit, NZ Internet Services' content management system.
The website also fully optimised for search engines to enable them to be found and create further business.
Training is now complete and the website is being fully maintained in-house. The client is already receiving fresh overseas enquiries via the website and and while it has only been live for a short time, search engine rankings are already fantastic.
We would just like to record our thanks for the superb work on our new website. NZ Internet Services' understanding of our needs, target market, and our desired outcomes made the whole process painless - for us at least! - and your entire team have been extremely patient in guiding us through the process.
The site is now in its third live week- we have already had enquiries for new products from as far afield as Chile, and are thrilled to be making our way up the rankings on Google already - something that would not have been possible with the coding on our old site. The ease with which our own team can now make changes and add product to the site is also a major benefit to us.
We look forward to our continued partnership.
