Frucor Beverages is all about drinks! Energy drinks, fruit juices and fruit drinks, pure waters and sport waters, soft drinks, milk drinks…most of Frucor's brands are household favourites in New Zealand and Australia.

Frucor is the market leader in energy drinks in both countries. We're also the market leader in the juice category and the second largest non-alcoholic drinks company in New Zealand.

The client requirement

Frucor's HR Team required a 360 survey system, tailored to their specific requirements. This required the employee to complete a survey on themselves, and the same survey is also completed by their manager, reports and peers.

The system needed to manage the selection process of survey recipients, and invite respondents to complete the survey.

Behind the scenes an administration area is used to track the status of each survey and manage the process.  Upon completion of reports, a completed survey summary was required, as well as aggregated results across the Group, including New Zealand and Australia.

The NZ Internet Services solution

A customised application was developed using SQL server 2005 as the database. There are 6 levels within the organization, and each has its own set of survey questions. The system manages the survey process, automatically notifying via email at each step of the process, minimising interaction by administrative staff.

The reporting systems make use of Cold Fusion's graphic report abilities, as well as making the reports available as PDF files for easy storage and emailing. As the system is internet based it means employees can complete the survey at work, or remotely when traveling or at home.

The system is designed to be easy to use and to make the completion of surveys as quick as possible.

The results

The system has been in use for 5 years and has been very successful. Due to the modular nature of the design, each year enhancements have been made to streamline and improve the process.
